Silver Challenge Award - Knowing your Horse
This course will contribute towards you achieving your BHS Stage 1 certificate when combined with the other Silver Challenge Awards. It will help develop your knowledge of basic anatomy and feeding. You will also discover why they need to be fit and healthy for the activities you do together.

2. How to measure your horse's height
3. Where your horse's major organs are and their functions
4. The basic welfare needs of your horse and how to ensure they are met

6. Some common feeds available for horses and how to prepare them
